Checkpoints and tips
LIH has a single central security checkpoint in the main terminal. TSA PreCheck is available at Checkpoint #1. CLEAR is not available at LIH.
- For mainland departures, checked bags go through a USDA agricultural inspection before the TSA line. Check-in baggage inspection stations are in front of the airline counters.
- Arriving passengers with plants, animals or agricultural products must declare them on the form distributed in flight. Plant inspectors work in the baggage claim area.
- The Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture has launched a digital Agriculture Declaration Form for some arriving flights. Check the airport's agriculture page before you land.
