- TSA PreCheck is available at Des Moines. Members can keep shoes, belts and light outerwear on, and leave laptops in their cases.
- DSM is an official Global Entry enrollment center. Global Entry interviews are scheduled through the CBP Trusted Traveler Program website and held Tuesday through Thursday, from 12 to 4 p.m.
- Airline ticket counters open between 3:30 and 4 a.m. Allegiant, Frontier and Southwest do not staff their counters all day, so check your airline's hours before you leave.
