CVG at a glance

CVG has a single main terminal with two concourses, A and B. Concourse C was retired in the years after Delta reduced its hub, so most gates are in Concourses A and B.

The terminal is an easy airport to navigate, with a single security checkpoint and quick baggage claim. An Escape Lounge opened in Concourse B on April 1, 2026.

Main airlines: Delta operates the main hub at CVG, although the hub is much smaller than it was in the past. Allegiant, American, United, Frontier, Breeze, Southwest and Sun Country also operate here, along with several international carriers.

Terminals

Main terminal

Check-in, ticketing, baggage claim, the Ground Transport East and West areas, and the single security checkpoint. The rental car and ground transportation center is next to the terminal.

Concourse A

Holds gates A1 to A23 and most domestic carriers. The Club CVG lounge is between gates A8 and A10, and Urban Crave and Graeter's are nearby.

Concourse B

The Delta Sky Club is near gate B14 and the Escape Lounge is near gate B12. International arrivals are processed here, and Global Entry kiosks are on the arrivals level.

Moving between terminals

Concourses A and B are reached from the main terminal by an underground moving walkway and people mover. Both concourses are behind the same security checkpoint, so changing concourses after security does not need a new screening.
