LEX has one security checkpoint on Level 1, just past the ticketing counters. The TSA checkpoint is open daily from 4 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the hours change with the flight schedule.

- TSA PreCheck has dedicated lanes. Enrollment costs $85 for five years and includes an in-person interview at a TSA enrollment center.
- Starting February 1, 2026, travelers without an acceptable ID may be able to verify their identity through TSA ConfirmID for a $45 fee.
