Northwest of downtown Kansas City, Missouri, reached from the interstate network around the city.
Kansas City International opened a new single terminal on February 28, 2023, replacing the three older circular terminals. The terminal has one security checkpoint and two concourses, A and B.
Concourses A and B are linked by a climate-controlled walkway with moving walkways, so you do not need a shuttle or a second security screening.
Main airlines: Many domestic airlines serve MCI, and a few international routes operate here. Delta has a Sky Club in Concourse B, and the airport is mainly used for domestic travel.

The Escape Lounge is near gate A5, and the Quiet Room is near gate 12. Concourse A also has Meat Mitch barbecue, one of the local restaurants in the terminal.
A semi-satellite concourse. The Delta Sky Club is on the mezzanine above it, with its entrance off the City Market food hall. Variety KC Inclusive Play Zone is also located here.
The concourses are joined by a walkway of about 635 feet with moving walkways. Everything is behind one security checkpoint, so you can walk between gates without going through screening again.
A public bus runs from downtown Kansas City to the airport about once an hour. Check the RideKC schedule before you travel, since frequency varies by time of day.
Follow the signs to the lower Arrivals level, then look for the purple signposts 2K to 2N for rideshare pickup. Taxis and hotel shuttles use designated color-coded areas along the same curb.
Free gray bus shuttles run frequently from the Commercial Curb to the rental car facility. Look for the Rental Car bus stop on the lower level.
Free blue shuttle buses run about every 20 minutes, 24 hours a day, from the Economy Lot to the Commercial Curb on the Arrivals level.
Yes. The Escape Lounge in Concourse A sells passes online and at the door. It also accepts Priority Pass with a pre-booked slot.
Take the RideKC bus, which runs about once an hour, or use a rideshare or taxi from the purple-signposted pickup area on the Arrivals level.
