Fort Lauderdale, Florida KFLL #20 US airport by passengers
What to expect from Wi-Fi at FLL and how to stay safe on public networks.
Wi-Fi at FLL
Free Wi-Fi is available in all four terminals and at the Rental Car Center. Join Airport-Wifi-Terminal_1, _2, _3 or _4, or Airport-Wifi-Rental_Car_Center.
- Connect only to the official Airport-Wifi networks. The airport says it never charges for this service, and if you are asked for a card number, call customer service.
- Coverage is strong in most gate areas, but downloads of maps and boarding passes are a good idea before you go through security.

Staying safe on airport Wi-Fi
- Connect only to the network name published by the airport, and be wary of lookalike names.
- Skip online banking on public Wi-Fi, or use a VPN or your phone hotspot.
- Turn off automatic Wi-Fi joining so your phone does not connect to open networks by itself.
