Where to park at TPA
TPA has three covered garages. A rate increase took effect on August 4, 2026; the first hour is free in all of them, and the airport says booking online is always cheaper.
Short Term Garage
Levels 4 to 9 directly above the Main Terminal, about a 3 minute walk. The maximum is $32 per 24 hours as of August 2026.
Long Term Garage
Adjacent to the Main Terminal and connected by a pedestrian bridge and moving walkways on Level 4, about a 5 minute walk. The maximum is $26 per 24 hours as of August 2026.
Economy Garage and lot
South of the Main Terminal, reached by SkyConnect (the airport lists about 12 minutes). The maximum is $22 per 24 hours as of August 2026.
Valet
Curbside valet is offered at the Main Terminal departures level.
- The airport allows a 45 day limit in its garages.
- Height clearance: 6 ft 8 in for Short Term and valet, 7 ft 10 in for Long Term, and 8 ft for Economy garage levels 2 to 6.
- The airport notes the garages can reach capacity during peak holidays and spring break and says pre-booking is the only way to guarantee a space.
- EV charging is available in all three garages on a first-come basis.
