Parking at Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ)

Albuquerque, New Mexico KABQ #62 US airport by passengers

Your options for leaving a car at ABQ, and how to avoid paying more than you need to.

Where to park at ABQ

Parking at the Sunport has a covered garage close to the terminal and two economy lots. All lots are open 24 hours a day and accept cash and cards on exit.

  • Parking Garage

A four-level garage with space for about 3,400 vehicles on an hourly or daily basis. It is the closest covered option, with accessible spaces on every level.

  • Premium Economy Lot

About 450 partly covered spaces directly north of the garage, with an 8-foot 9-inch height limit.

  • Basic Economy Lot

About 388 self-pay spaces east of the garage. It accepts credit cards and tap-to-pay, has shuttle service, and is monitored around the clock.

  • Cell Phone Waiting Area

A waiting area for drivers picking up passengers, so you do not need to circle the terminal.

  • The garage has height limits: levels 1 to 3 are 6 feet 8 inches, and level 4 is 8 feet 6 inches. Check the limit before you drive in with a roof rack.
  • Commercial vehicles and trailers are not allowed in the garages or the cell phone lot.
