Cleveland, Ohio, on Riverside Drive southwest of downtown Cleveland. It is the main commercial airport for the Cleveland area.
CLE has one main terminal with three active concourses, A, B and C, plus a main core. Concourse D has been closed since 2014. All three open concourses connect airside, so you walk between them after security without going back through screening.
The airport is good for travelers who want to get downtown. The RTA Red Line station is on the lower level of the terminal and runs directly to Tower City in about 25 to 30 minutes for $2.50. The Club CLE is the airport's only Priority Pass lounge.
Main airlines: Southwest and Delta are the main carriers, and United uses Concourse C. Other airlines serving CLE use the open concourses. Check your booking or the airport's departure board for your exact gate.

All three concourses connect airside, so you walk between them inside security. A walk from one end of Concourse C to Concourse A takes a while, so allow extra time if your connection is tight.
The Red Line station is on the lower level of the main terminal, reached by the elevators or escalators in the middle of the ticketing and baggage claim levels. Trains run from the airport to Tower City in downtown Cleveland in about 25 to 30 minutes, every 15 minutes most of the day. The fare is $2.50 one way. Service between the Airport and West Park stations was restored on August 17, 2026.
Rideshare and taxi pickup is at the terminal curb. Downtown rides usually take 20 to 25 minutes outside rush hour, and cost much more than the train.
Take the RTA Red Line from the lower level of the main terminal. It costs $2.50 one way and reaches Tower City in about 25 to 30 minutes, running about every 15 minutes most of the day.
The Smart Garage is $26 per day or $7 per hour. The Orange Lot is $21 per day, the Blue Lot is $24 per day, and the reserved Red Lot is $29 per day. Valet is about $37 per day.

With five hours or more, a train ride downtown gives you time for the West Side Market or the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Trains run about every 15 minutes at peak times and every 30 minutes off-peak, from about 4 a.m. until after midnight.
Parking is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Security checkpoints close overnight, so overnight travelers may need to wait landside.
