Where to park at MDT

MDT offers two main options: the multi-level garage, which is connected to the terminal, and the Long-Term lot on Airport Drive, about a mile east. Both allow you to park for as many or as few days as you need, and both earn points in the frequent parker program.

• Garage

  $3 for the first 30 minutes, $5 for 31 minutes to 1 hour, $2 for each additional hour, and $20 maximum per 24 hours. The garage is covered and connected to the terminal by a skybridge and moving walkways.

• Long-Term lot

  $10 per day flat rate, including taxes and fees. Located on Airport Drive, about a mile east of the terminal. Free shuttles run around the clock, about every 15 minutes, from numbered shelters in the lot.

• XpressPARK

  An account-based access card program for frequent parkers. You set up an account online, and the card is mailed within 10 business days. Commercial transportation companies cannot use it.

• Some third-party guides list higher garage rates. The airport's published table above is the current one, but check flyhia.com before you travel.
• If you plan to park for more than 60 days, call the parking office at 717-948-5901 first.
• For a short trip with heavy bags, the garage saves time because the skybridge takes you directly to the terminal.
