Where to park at BWI
BWI has four park-and-fly options plus the rail station garage. The airport parking page lists live availability and rates. The rates below were set in July 2024, the first increase since 2009, and the airport page still shows them.
Hourly Garage
$6 per hour, with a $30 daily maximum. It is the closest and has covered parking with the fastest access to the terminal. It has nearly 5,000 spaces.
Daily Garage
$16 per day. Covered parking with 8,400 spaces and frequent shuttles to the terminal.
Express Parking
$14 per day. The lot has 1,400 spaces and free shuttle service from eight covered bus shelters.
Long-Term Parking
$11 per day, the most economical option. Two surface lots on Aviation Boulevard (MD 162) have more than 10,000 spaces and covered shuttle stops.
BWI Rail Station garage
$12 per day, operated by the Maryland Transit Administration, with 3,187 public spaces and a free shuttle to the terminal.
- Lots can fill up and close. When that happens, drivers are sent to other lots at the posted rates.
- Allow extra time for shuttle rides. The airport warns that shuttle and rail delays are possible, so arrive about two hours before departure.
