Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) terminal guide

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania KPIT #47 US airport by passengers

How PIT is laid out and how to move between buildings.

Terminals at PIT

Landside Terminal (new, opened November 2025)

Check-in and security on the upper level; arrivals, baggage claim, the Welcome Point meeting area and ground transportation on the levels below. Rental car desks are in a Customer Service Building that connects to the ground floor of the terminal.

Airside Terminal, center core

The Skybridge from security leads down to the center core, which has shops and restaurants and is the hub for all four concourses.

Concourse A

The airport's flight status board shows Southwest and United flights at A gates.

Concourse B

The flight status board shows American Airlines flights at B gates.

Concourse C

The smaller concourse; international arrivals pass through it. The Club PIT is near Gate C1. Confirm your gate with your airline for transatlantic flights.

Concourse D

The flight status board shows Delta flights at D gates.

Moving between terminals

There is no longer a train between landside and airside. After security you walk about 160 feet across the Skybridge and through the tunnel, then take escalators or elevators down to the center core and walk out along your concourse. Connecting passengers stay airside.
