George Bush Intercontinental is Houston's main international airport and a significant gateway to Latin America. United uses most of the terminal space, so connecting travelers often move between several buildings.
The airport has five terminals, A through E. The Skyway train and the underground Subway connect the terminals, so it is generally possible to change between them without going outside.
Main airlines: United Airlines operates its largest Texas hub here, with a strong network to Latin America. Several other airlines also serve the airport.

The Skyway is a free train that runs between the terminals, outside security. The Subway, an underground train, connects terminals inside security, so connecting passengers can usually change terminals without leaving the secure area. Follow the signs.
METRO local buses run to the airport. Service to downtown is limited, so check the timetable.

Taxi and rideshare pick-up is at designated areas at each terminal. The trip to downtown can take 30 to 60 minutes depending on traffic.

IAH is the large international airport north of the city. Hobby is a smaller airport southeast of downtown.
