Where to park at OAK

OAK offers Premier, Hourly, Daily and Economy parking, plus a free Park and Call lot for people picking up passengers. The airport lists the same hourly rates for all lots, effective July 1, 2025, and the rates include the City of Oakland parking tax. Reservations are available online for up to 30 days ahead.

  • Premier Lot

    Directly in front of the terminals. The airport lists $5 per 30 minutes with a maximum of $40 per 24 hours (after 2 hours). Free Level 2 EV charging is in sections G2, J2 and K2 near Terminal 2, and a security checkpoint fast pass is issued when you enter.

  • Hourly Lot

    Short-stay parking within walking distance of the terminals. The airport lists $4 per 30 minutes with a maximum of $36 per 24 hours. Accessible spaces closest to the terminals are here, and ADA customers without a reservation can get the Daily rate by exiting through the cashier lane with their placard.

  • Daily Lot

    Long-term lot with a flat, protected 5 to 8 minute walk to either terminal. The airport lists $4 per 30 minutes with a maximum of $26 per 24 hours (after 2 hours). Two free Level 2 EV chargers are in section L6. Reservations can use the Quick Gate license plate recognition entry, with a $1.99 booking fee.

  • Economy Lot

    Long-term lot with a free shuttle to either terminal from seven stops, about every 15 to 20 minutes. The airport lists $3 per 30 minutes with a maximum of $18 per 24 hours (after 2 hours). Two EV chargers are in section M1. Overnight, call 510-563-3890 for on-demand shuttle service.

  • Park and Call Lot

    Free waiting lot for meeters and greeters, with a maximum wait of 30 minutes. You must stay with your vehicle, and passenger pick-up is not allowed in the lot itself.

  • Terminal 2 is on the far side of the elevated BART station after you enter the parking area. Signs show which airlines use each terminal as you approach.
  • BART is a lower-cost alternative to airport parking if you are coming from San Francisco or the East Bay. The Oakland Airport station has no BART parking; the closest multi-day reserved parking is at Fruitvale station.
  • Reserved parking can be booked at book.iflyoak.com, and the airport offers periodic promotional rates for reservations, though standard rates still apply to most stays.
