Southwest Florida International Airport serves Fort Myers and the wider Southwest Florida region, including Cape Coral and Lee County. It is a single-terminal airport with three concourses.
RSW has one terminal split into three concourses, B, C and D. Each has its own TSA checkpoint, and the terminal is undergoing expansion, including a temporary checkpoint for Concourse C.
Short-term parking in the garage is $4 per hour, capped at $28 per day, with the first 20 minutes free. Long-term surface parking is $2 per hour, capped at $14 per day, with a free door-to-door shuttle. Free RSWiFly Wi-Fi covers the terminal, and there are no operating airline lounges.
Main airlines: Southwest, Alaska, Frontier, Sun Country and Avelo operate from Concourse B. Delta, United and WestJet use Concourse C, and American, Breeze, JetBlue and Spirit use Concourse D, according to a third-party guide. Check the airport site for current service.

Gates C1 to C9, used by Delta, United and WestJet. Since February 2026, Concourse C has used a temporary checkpoint at the West Atrium, Door 5. All Concourse C passengers now enter from there.
Gates D1 to D10, used by American, Breeze, JetBlue and Spirit, according to a third-party guide. It has its own checkpoint.
Each concourse has its own TSA checkpoint, and a third-party guide says moving between concourses means exiting security and clearing it again. Allow extra time when you connect, and check the gate area before you leave the security line.
The garage is directly across from the terminal, with the rental car and ground transportation facilities on its ground floor. Ground Transportation agents are at a booth on the first floor, across the roadway from Doors 5 and 6.
The car rental facility is across the street from the terminal, on the garage's ground floor. Arriving passengers go downstairs and walk across the street.
Free door-to-door shuttles run from the surface lot to the terminal curb, and the driver helps with luggage.
The Lee County Port Authority lists hotels with free shuttles. Shuttle hours vary by hotel, so call each hotel to arrange pickup.

A temporary checkpoint opened in February 2026 at the West Atrium, Door 5. All Concourse C passengers must enter there, and Concourse C no longer has access from the East Atrium.
