RTC RIDE Route 12
Route 12 is the closest city bus to the airport. It runs seven days a week and links the airport area with downtown Reno and Meadowood Mall. The stop is near Terminal Way and Villanova Drive, not at the terminal curb. As of October 6, 2026, RTC lists that stop as closed during construction and points riders to a temporary stop near the SureStay Hotel driveway, so check rtcwashoe.com before you go.

North Lake Tahoe Express
Reserved shuttle service between RNO and Tahoe City, Truckee, Northstar, Palisades Tahoe and the north and northeast shore towns. The operator asks for reservations at least 24 hours ahead and publishes separate Red and Blue route schedules.

Ground transportation loop at Door D
All commercial pickups, including taxis, shuttles, limos and Uber and Lyft, are outside baggage claim Door D in the ground transportation loop. Follow the crosswalk to the far end, where there is a weather shelter. Drop-offs can use the outer curb of the terminal.
